Kindergarten students attend their assigned classrooms in small groups where they will meet their teacher and parents will have a chance to listen to information from their student's teacher.
A special assembly for our grade 5's students to wish them well in Middle School and beyond.
Students in grades 1 to 5 return to last year's classes. Kindergarten students will attend briefly later in the week.
All students Grade 1 to 5 will attend school from 8:45 to 2:40.

Wear a costume, bring your dancing shoes and "boogieman" it up to today greatest dance tunes. There will be spooky games, ghastly good food and a costume parade. Tickets available at the door.

Students and staff will merrily prance around the school fields with bells on their shoes producing a most festive sound to ring in the holiday season.

Students from each division will be recognized for practicing our school monthly belief. Parents of students being recognized will be notified by a notice sent home by classroom teacher.
Division's 2 and 9 provide cupcakes to be sold in the gym after school.
Students bring their favourite book, a blanket, pillow and even a stuff animal and set up in their classrooms to read for the day.

Grade 3 to 5 students that have qualified will participate in the Zone Track Meet against other schools. Parents are welcome to come and participate as spectators and help cheer Torquay on. This is a full day event.
New Kindergarten students and their families come in small groups to meet some of our staff and get familiar with Torquay and it's routines.
All finalist from the Zone meets will meet at UVic in the evening. Parents are responsible for taking their child/ren to and from UVic Stadium.

Just like last year, Torquay Staff will be showing our appreciation to our parents for all that they do each and every day by offering an array of yummy goodies in the gymnasium while a few of our very talented students entertain us with various performances.
