Earth Day
Torquay School will participate in the following Earth Day activities: Tim Horton's Community Clean Up (Parent Volunteers needed, please contact your classroom rep) Lights Out Canada - all classroom are encouraged to "turn the lights out" and participate in activities that reduce our carbon footprint while learning about climate change.

Cupcake Day – Divisions 04 and 10
Students in divisions 4 and 10 will provide cupcakes to be sold after school. All proceeds go to charities chosen by the students. Please drop off allergy aware cupcakes to the school office.

Beach Day
All students will walk to Mount Douglas Beach together and enjoy a fun filled day of sun, sand and friends. **small beach toys permissible so long as students can carry them to and from the beach.

Bike Roadeo
Bring your bikes, scooters or any wheeled mode of transportation and practice your road safety with the Saanich Police Department. All students MUST bring a helmet to participate and bikes/scooters must be in proper working order. **Parent volunteers always encouraged. :)
