Torquay is part of the Zone A group.

Two Divisions Host a Speical Treat Day. This happens 7 times throughout the school year.  Treats sell for $1.00 each. The host Divisions this month are Ms. Karpiak and Mr. Kiernan

Runners who placed 1st or 2nd in their heat will be invited to take part in the City Track Meet. Coaches will inform runners and parents if the runners have qualified.

Stages Dance Company will perform for students in our gym.

Freezies will be sold after school for $1.00 by grade 5 students as fund raiser

Students will be invited to enjoy a  School is Cool presentation in the gym with Yo Yo master. Yo Yos will be on sale after the presentation and for the remaining days of the week. Yo Yo's range from $10.00 to $20.00

The Grade 5 students will set off on bikes along the Lochside trail to Mattick's Farm for mini-golf and icecream. They will stop at McMinn park on return for lunch and some playing before making their way back to the school. This will be an all day event. We will... Read more

With the help of parents, each of our teachers plan a fun activity/station for the kids to enjoy in the afternoon. Students make their way to the various stations of their choosing. Teachers will be contacting families to help with running the stations for the afternoon

All staff and students spend the day at Pkols Beach. Families are welcome and encouraged. We walk to and from the beach and hope the weather is wonderful. Students are permitted to wade into the water up to their knees but no swimming is allowed. Students can bring their sand... Read more
