Earth Day

- April 22nd is Earth Day, the largest, most celebrated environmental event in the world!
- More than 6 million Canadians join 1 billion people in over 170 countries in staging events that address environmental issues.
- Torquay School is going to participate in Lights Out Day on April 22nd to show our support for energy conservation and our environment.
- Torquay School is also going to participate in the Community Clean-Up event on
- April 18th. From 1:10 – 2:10 our classes will assist in cleaning up our community by collecting litter from the immediate neighbourhood. Parents are welcome to join us. Please talk to your child’s teacher.
