This is an opportunity for families to clear out unused household items\, gently used children’s toys and clothing and make a few dollars in the process. \nHere’s how it works:  \nFamilies will have a chance to rent either a parking space (you will use your car) or table to sell their items. Rentals are $25.00 per parking space/table and all proceeds from the rentals will go to our playground fund. Families will keep the proceeds from the sale of their items. DESCRIPTION:“In our Grade 4 Preparedness Program\, we provide children with practical information and tools to take home to their parents or caregivers on the importance of emergency preparedness\,” says Frank Macdonald\, Saanich Deputy Fire Chief. \nSaanich Emergency Program and Red Cross volunteers assist with delivering presentations to students\, sharing their knowledge and experience. The presentations consist of an emergency preparedness talk followed by two relay races that reinforce good choices when compiling an emergency preparedness kit. All students receive a start to their individual Grab and Go Kits to take home and complete.

DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, April 14th\, 2016\, we are planning on constructing  a Silver Brick Road in order to fund raise for the new school playground.  We invite you to collect silver coins (nickels\, dimes\, quarters) with your child to bring to school on  April 14th.  Our goal is to make a path of coins that travels through the hall from one end of the school to the other! Please note\, no child will be denied participation in the activity if they are unable to contribute coins. \nBuddy classes will work together to add their coins to the Silver Brick Road throughout the day.  We will be collecting and rolling all the coins after the event and depositing the money in the school’s playground fund found at: \nhttps://www.canadahelps.org/dn/25121. \nAny contribution is greatly appreciated.
