DESCRIPTION:April 22nd is Earth Day\, the largest\, most celebrated environmental event in the world!\nMore than 6 million Canadians join 1 billion people in over 170 countries in staging events that address environmental issues.\nTorquay School is going to participate in Lights Out Day on April 22nd to show our support for energy conservation and our environment.\nTorquay School is also going to participate in the Community Clean-Up event on\nApril 18th. From 1:10 – 2:10 our classes will assist in cleaning up our community by collecting litter from the immediate neighbourhood. Parents are welcome to join us. Please talk to your child’s teacher.
